INVITATION TO ATTEND from TIM KARP, RAILROAD LIABILITY CONFERENCE CHAIR and JIM BOWERS, FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION SEMINAR CHAIR
As the Chairs of these two meetings, we are delighted to encourage you to attend and participate in this year's joint Finance & Administration Seminar and Railroad Liability Conference in Milwaukee, WI. Your meeting Planning Committees have focused all of their energies on creating a valuable educational experience, full of opportunities to network and learn something new, while remaining mindful of the many commitments vying for your time and attention.
This meeting will provide a great mix of business and social activities starting on the social side with an Opening Welcome Reception on Tuesday evening. Additional receptions will be held on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, providing our attendees with an opportunity to network and discuss the day's educational take away's in a more relaxed atmosphere. On Thursday night, attendees may opt to attend the Brewers vs. Mets baseball game with our group and on Friday afternoon the Committee has planned a tour of the Lake Front Brewery, followed by a boat ride on Lake Michigan.
On the business end of the program, and new this year to the traditional Liability Conference educational lineup, is a Finance & Administration Seminar on the front end of the meeting. We hope that the synergy between these two events will draw an expanded pool of attendees to both, thereby providing a greater population of railroad legal, human resources, accounting, and insurance personnel with the tools and knowledge they need to better do their jobs.
