One of the sure signs of the holiday season on the rails is the advent of special events geared towards the festive mood of the season. Illinois

Pioneer Railcorp will host their annual Santa Train on December 10, 2011. The Santa Train will run along Pioneer's subsidiary, the Keokuk Junction Railway between Mapleton and Cuba. In addition, Santa will be stopping at Pioneer's headquarters in Peoria on December 11. For more details, contact Meghan Peterson (meghanpeterson@mac.com) at 309-369-3061.
