The ASLRRA provides services to our members in a wide spectrum of areas. ASLRRA - through representation on committees, internal and industry-wide, and through the efforts of our lobbying firm - makes sure that your interests are represented in Washington. Our regular communications keep you up-to-date on all pertinent news and upcoming educational conferences and training sessions. And our Member Partner Programs provide you with the resources needed to confront administrative and operational challenges.

Types of Membership

The ASLRRA has five different types of membership available to interested companies that encompass the broad scope of the rail industry, from railroad companies to suppliers, to governmental agencies. They are:

• Railroad Members - Any Class II or III freight railroad in the continental or territorial U.S., Mexico or Canada
• Associate Business Members - Any company that supplies or contracts to Railroad Members
• Associate Railroad Members - Any tourist or excursion railroad in the continental or territorial U.S., Mexico or Canada
• Associate Sustaining Members - Any Class I railroad, transit agency, state DOT, rail shipper and third party logistics provider
• Associate Switching Members - Any provider of switching services
